SKINCARE ROUTINE | Dry Skin + Acne

WATCH IN HD! Thank you so much for watching! I’m so happy with the way this video turned out, so make sure you give it a thumbs up if you are too!! I’ll leave a ton of info in here (basically a novel), but feel free to ask if you have any questions!!!

Neutrogena makeup removing wipes:

I’m sure all of you have used these before! They take off makeup really well but are still gentle on the skin, plus they’re super affordable. I typically buy the twin pack when it’s buy one get one half off so I get a total of 4 packs for around $18. I just stock up since I know I’ll eventually use them.

Liquid eye makeup remover:

I don’t use this all the time- mostly on heavy makeup days. I’ll either put it on a cotton ball or q-tip to get eye makeup that I missed with the wipe. I also keep a bottle with my makeup collection for when I make mistakes.

First Aid Beauty pure skin cleanser:

This is amazing. It’s VERY gentle, so those of you with sensitive skin will probably love it! It has a very thick consistency and a little goes a long way. I use it in the morning with my hands and at night with my clarisonic and it works really well both ways.

Clarisonic:

I have the Mia 2, and honestly it’s not worth the extra money. I got it for a really cheap price, so that’s the only reason I got the 2 instead of the 1. I use it almost every night when I wash my face and it made a big difference with my acne. I have the deep pore brush on it currently and it is pretty harsh so if you have sensitive skin I don’t recommend this brush head.

Loreal charcoal face mask:

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it is AMAZING! I’ve never used a glam glow mask so I can’t compare them, but since this one works so well I’m in no rush to spend that much money on a mask! The charcoal pulls all the gunk out of your pores and I see immediate results with my pimples after using it. When my skin was worse I would use it like every other day but now I only do about twice a week.

Clinique clarifying lotion 2:

This isn’t acually actually a lotion haha it’s a toner. I put it on a cotton ball and wipe it all over my face to get all the makeup I missed (usually around my ears and neck). If I don’t use the mask I’ll do this right after washing my face.

Mario Badescu facial spray:

I’ve been using the rose one for almost a year now, but they just came out with the green tea and cucumber one a few weeks ago so I’ve been using that one more recently. They feel the same but just have different smells. This is a really good multipurpose product that you can use a few ways. Sometimes I use it after my moisturizer too if I feel really dry or after my makeup to get rid or the powdery look. I like putting it on before moisturizer because it makes the moisturizer go on smoother.

Clinique moisturizing lotion:

I use it morning and night. It hydrates without feeling heavy or greasy which is great because it doesn’t interfere with my makeup! They also make a gel version which is good for oily skin.

Clinique eye cream:

Obviously I don’t have wrinkles yet so I don’t need to be using an eye cream that’s super intense but this just adds more hydration and keeps my eye area smooth. It’s better to start when you’re young than when it’s too late.

Clinique clinical clearing gel:

This product is what really helped my breakouts. Thankfully, I don’t need it too much anymore. But, when my skin was bad I would put it on my problem areas twice a day. Even after just one day I notice the pimples are significantly smaller when I use this!
