Spring Skincare Tips! | Day 2: Skin Hydration and Body Oils

Welcome to Day 2 of our #SpringSkincare series where we’ll be going over everything you should and should not be doing as we approach warmer weather and humid environments. Today is all about #hydration and how your skin absolutely needs it even as the atmosphere around you increases in water content.

Your skin is constantly changing over, in fact it fully changes every 28 days. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the 28-day skin cycle, your skin is never older than 1 month and because of that it is constantly in need of 2 things: nutrients to engender healthy and consistent growth and hydration to maintain and ensure a luscious and vibrant appearance. Without both of these, your skin will not be able to operate at it’s full potential. When one is lacking, you’ll notice many of the issues that your skin goes through on a monthly basis. Acne, redness, loose skin, dark spots, dry eyes and lips, and much more can all come from simply neglecting to hydrate your skin properly.

It’s not a hard process to do this! In fact, all you need to start is some #oliveoil! There are more specialized products out there, but if all you have or all you can afford is olive oil, just buy the best quality that you can and get started. You’ll be surprised at the results you’ll get, but there are many additional products and methods you can use to make significant strides in your skin’s progress.
