Skin Care Tips:
Skin care is one of the most important things you can do for yourself by taking good care of your skin. Whether you’re a woman or a man, your skin needs special attention and treatment to keep it looking youthful.
Skin Care Tip 1
One Skin care tip that has proven to work time again is this one: Wash your makeup brushes in hot water. Hot water opens the pores in your brushes, which in turn helps your makeup brushes shed the oils and dirt they typically accumulate over the course of the day.
Sunscreen causes skin cancer and age spots to form. That’s why putting sunscreen on every day is simple: Put it on once at bedtime and after you shower, apply throughout the day.
Skin Care Tip 2
Use your sunscreen every day, even when the weather’s perfect. Switch sunscreen from SPF 15 to UVA 5. Not only does the sun-protection factor help avoid sunburn, but it also protects your skin from environmental damage like air pollution and even from harmful UV rays from the sun.
Skin Care Tip 3
Wash your face twice per day with warm (not hot) water. Hot water compresses your skin during the night. Try to sleep with as much of your face exposed to the air as possible. It helps your skin to heal more rapidly. Last but not least, never pick or squeeze your pimples.
Skin Care Tip 4
Use your herbs for skin care. Many herbs have healing properties and can help your skin look healthier, feel softer, and become more elastic. You can find these herbs at your local health food store or online. Some examples of herbs that can help your skin include aloe vera, chamomile, dandelion root, and peppermint.
Skin Care Tip 5
It’s tempting, however popping or pressing a pimple will not always get rid of the problem. Squeezing can press microorganisms and pus deeper right into the skin, triggering extra swelling and redness. Pressing can cause scabs as well as could leave you with permanent pits or scars.
Skin Care Tip 6
And finally, one other skin care tip to follow is to keep your stress levels low. Studies show that high stress levels can lead to several different health problems, including premature aging. Low-stress levels are good for your skin because they can promote younger-looking skin. Try to exercise, practice meditation, practice yoga, or get a massage each week.
