Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where today we are talking how to use azelaic acid correctly for hyperpigmentation, acne, melasma and glowing skin.
Azelaic acid is my favourite ingredient in skincare and I consider it essential in my skincare routine. Like all skin care ingredients though, it is really important that you use azelaic acid correctly to get the maximum results for your skin care routine whilst minimising side effects. In this video I want to show you how to correctly incorporate azelaic acid into your skincare routine.
Azealic acid works in a number of ways to deliver the following benefits:
Azealic acid for hyperpigmentation – azelaic acid reduces the pigment triggers in the skin which prevents the skin from over producing pigment in certain areas which will even out the skin tone and take dark spots and discolouration
Azelaic acid for acne – azelaic acid is great for tackling breakouts as it is scientifically proven to reduce the amount of acne causing bacteria on the skin. It also calms and soothes cystic acne and inflammation.
Azealic acid for sensitive skin – azelaic acid is proven to calm and soothe as well as reducing redness in the skin. This makes it great for people with sensitive skin or rosacea.
