That’s correct, you read that right. You can in fact straighten your hair from time to time ( don’t get crazy now lol ) without damage to your waves or curls. Let’s go over the key steps to get your bounce back 👏
1. A BOND BUILDER !!!! Today I used @curlsmith_official rehab salve and HONEY it is magic in a bottle. If you hair desperately need protein, this is no joke
2. Shampoo with either a cowash or milky cleanser. Today I used @breadbeautysupply milky cleanser. Bonus: it smells like fruit loops 🥹 for conditioner I used @evahairnyc lazy Jane. An affordable brand that WORKS
3. Section. Your. Hair. Most of the time I’m lazy and don’t do this step, let’s be honest. BUT especially after straightening your hair, this helps immensely
4. For stylers I recommend HYDRATION products like @twisthair leaven in conditioner spray. This product is RICH babe. The hydration is on level 10 💦 I used @daehair styling cream for a piecey, beachy effect and I just love this brand so much and feel like the curly community really sleeps on their products
5. Diffuse or air dry ! I showed the diffuser but ended up air drying !
6. Pretend you are Amanda Bynes in the movie What a Girl Wants. I mean this scene was so iconic ?!?
