Body positivity started out as a big deal. It was all fighting against what society said was beautiful and helping people feel good about themselves, no matter their size. It was especially focused on supporting bigger people and making sure everyone felt included. But now? It’s lost its punch. Big companies got their hands on it and turned it into something they could sell. They made it less powerful and more… well, bland. The worst part? A lot of the time, it doesn’t even help the people it was supposed to in the first place. It’s like the movement forgot what it was really about.
