#hygienehauls #showertok #overconsumption
Hygiene hauls on TikTok promote an insane level of overconsumption. They falsely represent overconsumption of hygiene products as a form of βself care,β showing off their aesthetic shower routines, excessive perfume collections and array of body butters, body oils and otherwise unnecessary hygiene products. In this video, I discuss the toxicity of showertok, hygienetok and perfumetok and how they spread an obsession with βsmelling good all dayβ to the detriment of their followersβ mental hygiene.
