Losing weight is not the same thing as losing body fat #strengthtrainingforwomen #girlswholift

Losing weight is not the same as losing body fat.

Many women come to me with goals like:
✨ Lose weight
✨ Tone up
✨ Get rid of cellulite

But part of my role as a coach is to listen to what you think you want and help you understand the path to actually get there—because what you imagine the journey entails isn’t what it truly looks like.

💡What you think it takes:
❌ Eating less and cutting calories
❌ Lifting light weights for high reps
❌ Removing all imperfections like cellulite or stretch marks

✨ What it actually takes:
✅ Fueling your body with more food to support muscle growth and energy
✅ Lifting heavier weights and focusing on progressive overload
✅ Building confidence through every phase, not just when you reach the “end goal”

When you say you want to “tone up” or “lose weight,” what you really mean is that you want to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in your body.

And that comes from building muscle, fueling yourself properly, and focusing on habits that empower you—not shrink you.

Your goals are valid, but sometimes the path just needs a little adjustment to make sure it aligns with what you really want. That’s where I come in 💪
