In today’s video, I’ll show you how I used a DIY avocado hair mask to deeply moisturize my hair and reduce frizz, followed by a simple yet effective protective style to keep my curls healthy and promote faster hair growth. I started by introducing today’s goal: nourishing my hair while keeping it protected. I created a homemade avocado hair mask, which is rich in vitamins and nutrients to strengthen hair, reduce frizz, and restore moisture. After applying the mask and distributing it evenly with a brush, I let it sit for 20 minutes to work its magic. ✨
Once I rinsed out the mask (without using shampoo or conditioner), I styled my hair into 2 simple braids, a protective style that minimizes manipulation and helps retain length. To finish, I added Jamaican black castor oil to my scalp to promote hair growth and keep my roots hydrated and healthy.
