important notes on hair growth
– hair growth speed is largely determined by genetics — you can’t make it grow faster than your body naturally allows, but you can create the best possible conditions for it.
– the real game-changer is length retention: preventing breakage, split ends, and damage so that the hair you’re growing actually stays.
-no single product will magically grow your hair. consistency, scalp health, and gentle handling over time are what matter most.
-what works for my scalp might not work for yours…always adjust based on how your hair actually feels and responds.
-ingredients like silicones and sulfates are not evil. they can be helpful when used strategically (especially if you wash frequently or oil your scalp).
-don’t skip protein and bond repair if you use heat — internal damage builds slowly but can quietly sabotage your growth goals.
-the goal isn’t perfection. if you skip a wash or forget a step, it’s okay. it’s about long-term habits, not day-to-day pressure.
quick note on rice water&rosemary water:
yes, I still use rice water and rosemary water in my routine, but I didn’t make them a huge focus in this video because the evidence behind them is mostly anecdotal or early stage. they can support scalp circulation and hair strength when used consistently, but they’re not magic growth serums. think of them as supplements, not foundations. the bulk of my growth and retention comes from how I wash, protect, and handle my hair day to day.
