A lot of confusion about what skin care to do before or during workout … NONE – ONLY a water based sunscreen IF you are working out outdoors or at a gym with big windows.
We all talk about letting our skin breath – this is that 1-2 hours in a day that you should do absolutely that. While working out there is a lot of blood flowing, pores opening, your skin is sweating – getting rid of the toxins. Why would you want to clog it up then?? Leave all the skin care for AFTER your workout. Right after working out, make sure you properly wash your face and then apply a light moisturiser with great active ingredients because that is when your skin is most receptive.
But before and during workout – no moisturiser, no cream , no serum, and definitely no make up.
