How Microneedling works for hair growth?

How to use this Microneedling or Derma roller for hair regrowth.
This is very important, if you don’t know how to use, then you are not going to get the benefits. Again, it can cause some issues.
I will explain this in simple 5 steps.
1. You need to choose right size of Derma roller. Take 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm titanium microneedles derma roller. You should not use more than 0.5 mm size, if you are starting newly. Derma rollers with 1mm size or more are only meant for clinical and not meant for personal use.
The bottom line is get a derma roller of size 0.5 mm.
2. How to use it with Minoxidil.
You can get maximum benefits of Derma roller if it is used along with Minoxidil. Minoxidil is FDA approved solution/ drug for hair regrowth.
So, You can use both to get collagen induction plus improved minoxidil absorption. The result is faster hair regrowth and improved hair density.
However, very important, You should not use Minoxidil right after Derma rolling. You should give 8 to 12 hours gap after micro needling. For example, if you use derma roller today night, apply mInodixil tomorrow morning.
The reason is microneedling rapidly increases minoxidil absorption and you may face side effects due to strong dosage of minoxidil. So bottom line is, give 8 hours gap before applying minoxidil.
3. Clean Derma roller with disinfectant before and after
Its very important to disinfect Derma roller before and after using it. Most people don’t do this, the result is infections or pimples on scalp.
So, do this for every use.
Take out derma roller, rinse with warm or hot water for 2 minutes.
Take isopropyl alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide in a bowl or small dish, and leave the derma roller there for 2 minutes or more.
Now rinse again with fresh water.
4. How to roll it on scalp
Take a 0.5mm derma roller and gently roll it back and forth on scalp separating the hair to expose scalp. You can go any direction. Straight or diagonal doesn’t matter. Do it for 5 to 10 minutes.
And you can do it once or twice a week.
5. Always use Derma roller on a clean scalp.
