▪️Shampoos with biotin control hairfall
Biotin is the most overhyped ingredient when it comes to hairfall. Biotin in shampoos have no role whatsoever other than maybe slighting moisturising the scalp.
▪️Losing 100 hair a day is normal
Our hair grow in cycles : anagen (growing phase) catagen (transition phase) & telogen (resting phase). Out of all the hair on scalp
3-4 % are in shedding phase. That is why losing 60-100 hair a day is considered normal.
▪️Rate of hair growth is genetically determined
There is no serum, shampoo to hair product which can in areas rate of hair growth. If it has slowed down then it can be improved but if it has always been slow, that is how it will remain. Hair growth also slows down with age.
▪️Dandruff means dry scalp
Dandruff actually occurs in oily scalp. Scales or flakes should not be confused for dry skin. Avoid using hair oil if you have dandruff. Keep scalp clean.
▪️Frequent shampooing causes hair loss
Frequency of shampoo spending in scalp type, hair type and on activity. If you sweat everyday or work out and scalp gets oily, you can shampoo everyday. It will not cause hair loss.
▪️Wash hair next day after using dry shampoo
Dry shamooo contains in greens with adsorb oil on its surface and restore volume and sbouce to hair. This can be used when you don’t have the time to wash your hair. But remember to shampoo your scalp the next day.
▪️Chemical hair treatments may exacerbate hair fall
Treatments such as keratin, cysteine, hair vitix, rebonding, hair straightening can execarebate hair fall. It is best to wait for reduction in hairfall by 60-70% beige you go for may if these treatments.
▪️Hair dye causes hair fall
Hair dye is not the cause of hairfall unless it is causing irritation or contact dermatitis to the scalp. if you have hair fall, finding the cause and addressing it is important.
