What your closed comedones mean by location:
Hairline or forehead — could be a result of using irritating or oil-based hair products that clog the pores along that area.
Jawline or chin — could indicate that hormonal changes cause the oil glands to overproduce oil that lead to closed comedones. However, this doesn’t mean that hormonal acne only presents itself as closed comedones (they may also be nodular, cystic, papules or even pustules)
