Growing up I had some funky and painful skin issues. Every summer, I’d get deep, painful cuts on my fingers and toes. Dermatologists would just look at me, shrug and hand me more aquaphor or something similar.
Fast forward, after making significant changes to our diet, eating real food and being aware of sourcing and ingredients, my skin was already doing much better.
But I still wanted something natural on hand for a basic moisturizer. I started with a batch of tallow balm and I was hooked.
From there we’ve slowly added to our skin care repertoire so now we have all of our bases met by easy to make diy recipes.
